Handle Open Windows Effectively
If you’ve ever got frustrated with Windows for its not-so-remarkable window management, and hung windows that diligently refuse to close, here’s something for you.
Download this software called Process Manager from here. Install It. It will run quietly sitting in your system tray. It offers some very handy features which should have been built into windows in the first place:
Transparency: make windows transparent, 0% being opaque. (See: Always on Top)
Minimize to System Tray: very handy for hiding intermittently used applications like media players and web browsers.
Always On Top: very handy if you need to compare two windows or transfer stuff from one to the other, or need the window to stay on top otherwise, quite useful if used with transparent windows.
Kill: immediately kill a non-responding window, without launching task manager.
Priority: set priority for CPU intensive applications like encoders and computational tools.
